   STEPS is a Southington community coalition with a mission aimed at growing great kids! We are made up of students, parents, educators, media, clergy and law enforcement representatives, business members, and other community stakeholders.

  • Parents, YOU are the key!
    By taking this survey, you are helping to evaluates the STEPS parent committee media campaign to raise awareness in Southington about the dangers of underage drinking, the social host law and the need to monitor teens all the way through high school. It only takes a few minutes and it also can help keep your kids safe and healthy!
  • STEPS Window Cling Project
    Valentine (also known as Diana Sheard) is educating businesses on what STEPS is, how their business can interact with youth, how they can join the movement by building developmental assets, and asking them to display a STEPS window cling in their store front window. The window clings say "This business is proud of be part of an asset building community."
